Plans, organizes, and audits standards, methods, procedures, and their implementation. Ensures compliance with applicable company directives, federal regulations, and management specifications. Reviews requirement documents and conducts research to prepare for the audit. Develops and conducts all phases of the audit, including: audit plan, in-brief and out-brief agendas and presentation, assessment schedules, checklists, data collection, report writing, and audit follow up. Identifies deficiencies to include findings, opportunities for improvement and noteworthy practices. Conducts validation of internal deficiencies from performed audits. Conducts verification of deficiencies from external agencies, including Department of Energy. Develops and revises Quality Assurance (QA) procedures and plans to ensure current requirements are incorporated. Ensures procedure instructions are clear and concise and all revisions are completed on time. Prepares annual audit schedules focused on addressing organizational risks. Prepares department reports, coordinates with management to conduct data and trend analysis, conducts random selection process in accordance with 10 CFR 1046, and prepares Company Shift Calendars annually. Must perform all responsibilities for environment, safety and health as defined in Procedure 1-3100 and adhere to the principles and functions of Integrated Safety Management.
