Requirements

Must be able to read and write in English
Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of the manufacturing processes, procedures, and machinery. This is normally acquired through two to five years of manufacturing experience in a tannery or a previous Quality Assurance position
Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers
Availability to work all shifts, flexible hours, flexible days/evenings to include weekends and holidays
Conceptual/Analytical thinking; attention to detail, problem solving
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated and self-starter; Eager and energetic
Maintain confidentiality
Basic computer skills
Understanding of various quality aspects
Able to lift hides up to 100#
Willingness to work and be on-time when scheduled; Exemplary attendance record with previous employer
Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
