Location: EAS Easton, MD. The largest EAS laboratory with more than 100 scientists servicing multiple portfolios is the center for our biological, toxicology, chemistry, and environmental fate contract research for North America. Successful candidates would be part of a large diverse team collaborating to delivery high quality research to key markets. Located on the eastern shore of the Chesapeake Bay, this historic small town has high quality of life with easy access to major cities such as Washington, DC, Baltimore and Annapolis. Eurofins Agroscience Services is searching for a Quality Assurance Associate to join our QA team in Easton, MD. This is an entry level position that includes the training you will need to be successful. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply. The Quality Assurance Department is responsible for ensuring the entire facility and the studies conducted are in compliance with EPA and FDA regulations. This position provides the opportunity to learn all aspects of Ecotoxicity testing; from study design, to study conduct, from data collection to data analysis, and regulatory expectations throughout the process. From Avian, Aquatic, Plant, and Invertebrate studies to Environmental Fate, Biodegradation, and Chemistry, the large variety of studies conducted provides a unique window in to the world of ecotoxicity testing.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in related major)
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Responsibilities

Audits protocols, procedures, data, reports, and other documentation for internal accuracy, consistency, and conformance with GLP regulations and Standard Operating Procedures.
Prepares, issues, and tracks reports of observations noted during audits and inspections. Reviews and evaluates addressed deficiencies for clarity, completeness, correctness, and potential impact on compliance status.
Performs facility inspections.
Performs phase inspections of ongoing studies.
