About The Position

Is this you? Do you design and improve QMS frameworks that actually get used on the floor? Have you led BRC (or other GFSI/AIB) certifications from preparation through audit and surveillance? Are you as comfortable running a DOE as you are facilitating a PFMEA or coaching operators on SPC? Can you turn disparate data streams into clear insights and actions—then train others to do the same? Do you enjoy partnering with R&D to translate product requirements into robust specifications and test methods? Role focus Establish and maintain plant-wide quality and continuous improvement systems. Develop and deploy quality policies, procedures, and documentation. Plan, evaluate, and implement product specifications and test/inspection standards. Own lab/testing equipment lifecycle: selection, calibration, preventive maintenance, and repairs. Serve as statistical subject-matter expert (SPC, DOE) and drive continuous process improvements. Manage quality data platforms: procure, install, program/configure, and provide end‑user training. Aggregate, analyze, and report process quality information to leaders and line teams. Support cost reduction and process optimization projects. Collaborate with R&D; align on specifications, validations, and change management. Lead audit readiness and champion BRC certification; sustain other external/customer certifications and inspections. Investigate product failures/returns, coordinate cross‑functional problem solving, and close CAPAs. Act as the plant’s quality liaison to Customer Service, Sales, and Marketing. Participate in select HR initiatives (e.g., training and development related to quality).

Requirements

BS/BA in a technical or business field.
5–7 years of quality leadership or process engineering experience in manufacturing.
ASQ certification (CQE/Professional Quality/Statistical Applications).
Required: experience with BRC, GFSI, or AIB certification and audits.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and statistical analysis tools; basic programming capability.
Strong command of statistical methods and CI toolsets; exceptional quantitative ability.
Working knowledge of manufacturing lab practices and testing procedures.
Ongoing professional development—at least one seminar or course every other year in quality, statistics, or business communication.
Flexibility for off‑shift coverage and some weekends as needed.
Food & Beverage manufacturing experience.
Proficiency in PFMEA facilitation and application.
