About The Position
We’re hiring a Quality Assistant for our Houston, TX client! We are looking for experienced, reliable, hard-working employees who can interview immediately! DESCRIPTION OF YOUR DREAM JOB: Job Title: Quality Assistant Location: Houston, TX Pay: $27 Hours: Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Overtime required as needed on Mon/Fri/Sat) Duration: 3 Months (Potential for extension) Description of Duties: Conduct high-level dimensional inspections on complex machined parts using hand tools (OD/ID/Blade Mics) and Gagemaker equipment (Rolls, JSS, MRP). You will perform first-article and spot inspections, review vendor documentation (MTRs/COCs), and document findings via NCRs. This role involves heavy collaboration with engineers and vendors to resolve technical discrepancies. Carlton Staffing is a local staffing firm in Texas with over 44 years of experience! Requirements
- Must have a High School Diploma/GED
- At least 5 years of specialized dimensional inspection experience
- Proficiency in Gagemaker thread inspection
- Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/Outlook)
- Demonstrate professional communication skills
