About The Position

Make a difference. As the Quality and Service Solutions Leader you will define, develop, and implement strategic plans that focus on removing supply chain inefficiencies through continuous improvement processes, innovation, and application of new and existing supply chain solutions. In this role you will assist the sales organization in the identification, development, presentation and the coordination of projects related to these service solutions with customers. In this role you will: Maintain and upgrade district hardware/software per IT standards; replace defective equipment and manage user access. Track and manage inventory of leased/owned IT assets; coordinate equipment returns and installations. Provide technical support and training to district, branch, and field staff; resolve escalated issues and recommend solutions. Ensure secure, clean environments for data and communications hardware; maintain system security and updates. Support print/scan, wireless, mobility, and voice infrastructure. Configure and maintain hardware/software for new, existing, and closing locations; document work and site layouts. Identify and implement process improvements through automation and feedback. Collaborate with departments to assess service performance and implement supply chain solutions. Support sales efforts by promoting service solutions to strategic customers and preparing marketing materials. Lead initiatives to eliminate inefficiencies through innovation and continuous improvement. Integrate construction technology and digital services into operational workflows.

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience required in Sales, Finance, Operations or Customer Service
  • Must complete Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA) Certification within six months of placement
  • Knowledge of the wholesale distribution industry
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; strong interpersonal skills as an influencer and team player
  • Strong service orientation
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to accurately and effectively gather, interpret, and report data
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to promote and sell service solutions to key stakeholders
  • Ability to train and mentor others

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of experience preferred: Branch, District, or Corporate Sales and Operations experience
  • 3+ years combined working experience with customers in both Electrical and CommData
  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Knowledge of the Company’s current strategies, service solutions, organizational structure, department functions strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of operations and corresponding computer systems including SAP and Business Warehouse (BW)
