Quality and Food Safety Supervisor
About The Position

In this on‑site, night‑shift role (11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m., Sunday –Thursday with flexibility based on business needs), you’ll lead key initiatives that ensure our products meet the highest standards of food safety and quality. You’ll be part of a collaborative, quality‑focused team working closely with Corporate Quality and plant leadership. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in food science, microbiology, or a related field, or equivalent experience in quality and food safety
- HACCP, SQF, and PCQI experience
- Hands-on microbiology laboratory experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while fostering accountability and execution
Responsibilities
- Compliance Leadership – Ensure adherence to microbial, sanitation, and food safety requirements, including HACCP, mandatory training, line validations, and third‑party audit readiness.
- Program Management – Oversee allergen controls, inspection programs, and the site Food Safety Plan, while managing the QFS Lab budget and associated documentation.
- Continuous Improvement – Drive HPO initiatives, ensure compliance with SOPs and KPIs, and support development and maintenance of the site’s QFS SOP database.
- Team Development – Lead, coach, and train QFS Technicians, ensuring they have the knowledge, tools, and support to be successful.
