About The Position
NuLeaf Naturals LLC., a leading manufacturer of CBD products, is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Quality and Compliance Manager to join our growing team in Englewood, Colorado. This permanent, full-time position is an onsite role that reports directly to the Executive Director. The Quality and Compliance Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the company's compliance with manufacturing standards, inspecting products, and developing new quality control procedures. The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation and execution of the Quality Management System (QMS) across the organization, ensuring that all products meet consistent quality standards. In this role, the Quality and Compliance Manager will coordinate and supervise the Quality Department staff and daily operations. This includes monitoring compliance standards as defined by NSF/ANSI 455-2-2021 standards, as well as state and federal regulations. The manager will lead and coordinate internal and external audits to maintain all manufacturing certifications and standings on a yearly basis. Additionally, the role involves managing the internal manufacturing sanitation program and enforcing the internal NCR/CAPA and change order processes. The Quality and Compliance Manager will also be responsible for the continued development of a comprehensive quality assurance and records management program. This includes evaluating existing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and working closely with branch staff to develop necessary procedures and forms. Training and staff development activities in areas pertaining to GMP standards, standard operating procedures, quality assurance, and records management will also fall under the manager's purview. The role requires identifying and implementing continuous improvements for GMP processes and overseeing third-party product testing protocols, ensuring traceability through the compilation and uploading of Certificates of Analysis (CoAs). Effective communication with internal and external parties regarding the QMS, quality objectives, and quality standards is essential. The Quality and Compliance Manager is expected to maintain a high degree of autonomy in making critical decisions on a day-to-day basis, contributing to the overall success of the organization.
