About The Position

The Quality Analyst will be responsible for logging, investigating and analyze errors reported by customer and other Eaton facilities. Identify trends and themes in errors and help to identify potential improvements to reduce errors. Document non-conforming material and issue corrective actions to the suppliers of that material. Support the Quality & OpEx Department with ISO Audits, and non-conforming material. This position requires interfacing with customer service, quality technicians, suppliers, buyers, management team and warehouse employees. This individual reports to the Quality Manager.

Requirements

  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree) from accredited institution.
  • Minimum 2 year work experience in a distribution, warehouse and/or other handling environment.

Nice To Haves

  • An Associate’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Ability to operate a forklift (sit-down, stand-up, reach and/or order picker)
  • Previous Quality Systems Experience
  • WMS, Vista, Salesforce, Q-pulse (Quality Management) and Microsoft Office Suite experience.
  • Eaton product knowledge.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with little supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Use E-mail, Q-Management software, and Salesforce to answer Customer Complaints providing Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action.
  • Populate daily metrics and collect, store, and analyze data related to internal and external errors from different databases.
  • Assist in writing and preparation of quality plans, procedures, and ISO requirements.
  • Inspect and document non-conforming material and issue corrective actions to suppliers.
  • Submit Inspection Reports.
  • Coordinate and perform internal process quality audits.
  • Support the RMA (Return Material Authorization) Process by providing insights of Customer complaints.
  • Publish reports of audit findings and perform other data entry as needed.
  • Conduct quality orientation and training for new hires and coach current team members.
  • Create, update, maintain and train on standard work instructions.
  • Perform internal ISO and EQS Audits and support various CI projects.
  • Audit on hand inventory for non-conformities using q-hold, k-hold process, and report findings through VISTA/ SAP to the supplying plant.
  • Identify and report quality issues, problems and negative trends for the designated department or product based on data from a variety of sources.
  • Recommend and/or implement appropriate corrective action to drive improvement.
  • Apply Eaton product knowledge to assist in driving location and inventory accuracy improvements.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Maintain quality workmanship, observe safety procedures, report unsafe acts, and perform work of equal of lower classification if necessary.
  • Flex into another department as needed.
