The Quality Aerospace Inspector plays a critical role in ensuring that all aircraft and components meet stringent quality standards in compliance with industry regulations. This position involves performing inspections, audits, and analyses within an aerospace manufacturing environment, with a focus on maintaining airworthiness and quality assurance. The role is temp-to-hire, offering a competitive hourly wage based on experience.

  • Ensure proper execution of the prescribed FAA forms for major repair or major alteration.
  • Perform inspections on all completed work and ensure proper inspection records are executed prior to product release.
  • Ensure maintenance is performed in accordance with industry standards, FAA regulations, and manufacturer's recommendations.
  • Conduct aircraft records research and help maintain aircraft status sheets.
  • Assist in Repair Station training and maintain training records.
  • Perform aircraft area and panel closeouts.
  • Ensure proper execution of FAA Form 337, 8130-10, and 8110.
  • Conduct preliminary, hidden damage, in-process, and final inspections of all articles processed by the Repair Station.
  • Ensure proper tagging and identification of all parts and components as outlined in the Repair Station/Quality manual.
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of incoming and outgoing aircraft records.
  • Perform weight and balance computations and ensure compliance in obtaining STC or Field approvals.
  • Review work orders.
  • Holds an Airframe and Powerplant license.
  • IA-FAA certification preferred.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience on Rotorcraft.
  • Previous experience in a 145 Repair Station.
  • Experience with Bell, Airbus, and Leonardo Helicopters.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read and write English.
  • Legal right to work in the United States.
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma and Lean Logic is a plus.
  • IA-FAA certification preferred.
