The Leidos Health & Services Sector is seeking a full-time Qualitative Data Analyst to support the Psychological Health and Readiness Department at the Naval Health Research Center, San Diego, CA. The qualitative data analyst will provide analytical support for several research projects including an evaluation of an existing military family readiness program and assessments of Sailor’s mental and behavior health, perceptions of cohesion and leadership, and their experiences with work-related stressors that may be unique to operational settings. Are you ready for unique and exciting work? This is currently a hybrid position and employees are expected to come on-site to the Naval Health Research Center in San Diego a minimum of 2 days a week. This requirement is subject to change in the future based on contract requirements. In addition, the analyst may travel to collect data in operational settings and present research findings to Navy leadership and the scientific community. Candidate must be local to the San Diego area or willing to relocate. The candidate will possess a deep understanding of qualitative research and implementation science methods, excellent communication skills, and a passion for converting qualitative data into evidence-based recommendations. The successful analyst will conduct interviews and moderate focus groups with military populations, design qualitative data analysis methodologies, analyze qualitative data, and assist in the development of recommendations and products for dissemination.
