About The Position

EPIC Health Partners is urgently hiring compassionate and motivated Qualified Mental Health Professionals (QMHPs) to join our Mobile Crisis Program. This position plays a critical role in providing rapid crisis response, stabilization, and community-based behavioral health support to individuals experiencing acute mental health needs. Services are delivered under the supervision of a licensed mental health professional and in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. This role is well-suited for both experienced professionals and individuals beginning their careers in behavioral health who are committed to recovery-oriented care and timely crisis intervention. Requirements

  • Active registration as a QMHP with the Virginia Board of Counseling
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services–related field
  • DBHDS Statewide Crisis Training Certification
  • Minimum of six (6) months of experience providing crisis services
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills
  • Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation
  • Successful completion of background check, Central Registry clearance, and TB screening

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct crisis intervention and stabilization services within the community.
  • Support the completion of initial assessments and assist in the collaborative development of Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) under the direction of a licensed professional.
  • Utilize de-escalation techniques and provide basic mental health education to support individual stabilization.
  • Accurately document all service notes and submit documentation within 24 hours of service delivery.
  • Ensure all documentation, including required signatures, is uploaded in a timely manner and that all charts remain 100% compliant.
  • Assist with care coordination through referrals and discharge planning to connect individuals with appropriate internal and external behavioral health resources.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of program operations.
