About The Position

The Peaks Care Center is seeking qualified Medication Administration Personnel (QMAP) to provide medication administration and treatment assistance to residents. This part-time, PRN role involves ensuring the safety and comfort of residents while complying with healthcare regulations. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Med Tech or QMAP certification is required and must remain current during employment.
• CPR certification is required.
• First Aid certification is preferred.
• One (1) year of experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a caregiving role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medication and complete daily shift reports.
• Manage assigned tasks within the scheduled shift.
• Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office.
• Provide residents with medication administration and treatment assistance according to healthcare provider's orders.
• Supervise residents who self-administer medication while following community and regulatory guidelines.
• Report any changes in residents' physical condition and/or behaviors.
• Assist with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living.
• Document daily log of assistance.
• Follow the schedule of residents' needs set out by supervisor.
• Maintain a safe working environment through accident prevention and safe working practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
