About The Position

The Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP) position at the Southern Wisconsin Center involves coordinating the development of comprehensive functional assessments and Individual Program Plans for residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role includes monitoring and integrating resident programs to ensure continuous active treatment, conducting staff training, and ensuring proper documentation of resident treatments. This position is essential for providing high-quality care and support to individuals in a state-run facility.

Requirements

• Must be a Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP) as defined in the Code of Federal Regulations.
• At least one year of experience working directly with persons with intellectual disabilities or other developmental disabilities.
• Must be a doctor of medicine or osteopathy, a registered nurse, or hold at least a bachelor's degree in a relevant professional category.

• Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities dually diagnosed with a mental health condition.

Responsibilities

• Document and monitor documentation of resident treatments.
