About The Position

This is a full-time position (40 hours minimum per week) that requires on-call availability. As a QIDP, you will manage the operations of two Intermediate Care Facilities (ICF) in West Columbia and Lexington, SC. This includes the development, supervision, and implementation of each individual's Active Treatment Plan (ATP). This will ensure that each individual receives intensive and effective training needed to reach their fullest potential. You will be responsible for ensuring each Intermediate Care Facility and staff members follow the guidelines and procedures established by the Office of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (OIDP) and Burton Center to ensure the needs, health, and safety of individuals are met on a daily basis! You will effectively manage each Intermediate Care Facility by maintaining safety protocols and inspections, completing budget and inventory reports, and reviewing individual and staff progress. Using exemplary leadership skills, professionalism, and clear communication, you will work closely with Direct Support Professionals (DSP), nurses, Residential and Executive Directors, and individuals and their families. With a creative and positive outlook, you will be able to empower the individuals and staff around you to fulfill Burton Center's mission to develop and discover unlimited potential!

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in the Human Services field
  • One year experience working with individuals with disabilities and special needs
  • Certified as a Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional
  • Valid SC Driver's License
  • Ability to advocate for others
  • Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of time
  • Clear communication and excellent management skills

Responsibilities
