About The Position
The Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) is responsible for providing and documenting services in accordance with the Department of Human Services (DHS) guidelines. This role includes training direct service staff, advocating for clients, and ensuring compliance with confidentiality laws. The QIDP serves as a liaison between clients, families, and other agencies, and actively participates in various committees to support client well-being.
