About The Position

The Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) position at 5 Star Cares is a part-time role focused on providing compassionate support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The QIDP will oversee and coordinate individual program plans, ensuring they align with the unique needs and goals of each person served. This role emphasizes collaboration, communication, and compliance with regulatory standards to foster a supportive environment for both clients and staff.

Requirements

• Must have current QIDP (former QSP/QMRP) certification.
• At least one year of experience working in the field of intellectual/developmental disabilities.
• Experience in writing program plans, case notes, or other relevant documentation for implementation plans.
• Must successfully complete the required pre-employment background and drug screenings.
• Must possess a valid driver's license which meets company standards for approved driver status.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Bachelor's Degree in the Human Services field.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and coordinates the Program Plan of each individual, ensuring alignment with their needs and desires.
• Creates positive, collaborative communication with all disciplines and team members.
• Ensures that Program Plans and documentation are completed in accordance with all regulatory agencies.
• Assists in monitoring and training of staff and relevant parties to ensure accurate implementation and documentation of training, support, and behavior programs as required by the individuals' plans.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
