About the position

The Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) plays a crucial role in ensuring quality care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This position involves coordinating service plans, monitoring compliance with regulations, and overseeing the delivery of services to enhance the quality of life for clients. The QIDP is responsible for facilitating team meetings, managing incident reports, and maintaining fiscal accountability within the approved budget.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures consumer and guardian participation in the development of service plans and personal futures plans.
  • Coordinates the development of personal futures plans and schedules team meetings.
  • Schedules and chairs screenings for program vacancies and develops waiting lists for potential consumers.
  • Monitors service sites to ensure compliance with contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements, implementing necessary corrective plans.
  • Reviews incident reports to identify patterns and addresses incidents of abuse, neglect, or mistreatment in a timely manner.
  • Supervises the delivery of service plans and training of staff, ensuring all training programs are implemented and documented.
  • Maintains fiscal spending within the limits of the approved budget, including household and personnel expenses.
  • Monitors worker's compensation and unemployment claims, proactively reducing claims and minimizing risk.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Business, Health Care Administration, or Social Services, or equivalent experience with a high school diploma and three years of related job experience.
  • A minimum of two years of verifiable work experience providing services to individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • One year of previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Federal, State, and local regulations concerning services to individuals with intellectual and/or other developmental disabilities.

Benefits

  • $5000 Sign On Bonus, paid in two installments at 90 and 180 days.
  • Competitive salary of $43,888.00 per year.
