The Taylor Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to assist in overseeing all aspects of Quail Ridge during the evenings. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a passion for hospitality and a proven ability to manage diverse teams and responsibilities. This role requires a strong focus on guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency. Job Summary: The Quail Ridge Assistant Manager is responsible for aiding in the overall evening management of the lodge, ensuring a seamless and exceptional guest experience. This includes overseeing entertainment, lodging, and related services.

Requirements

Three years’ proven experience in a management role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a lodge or resort setting.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of budgeting, financial management, and human resources practices.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
Valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist in implementing strategies to enhance the guest experience, including creating excellent events during the evening hours of operation.
Oversee the planning and execution of entertainment programs, ensuring they align with the lodge's brand and target audience.
Manage guest relations, addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance satisfaction.
Oversee all aspects of lodging operations, including reservations, check-in/check-out, housekeeping, and maintenance during evening hours.
Ensure rooms and facilities are clean, well-maintained, and meet established standards.
Manage inventory of linens, supplies, and amenities.
Implement and enforce lodging policies and procedures.
Any other responsibilities assigned by management.
Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate staff members across all departments (entertainment, lodging, groundskeeping).
Create a positive and productive work environment.
Develop staff schedules and manage time and attendance.
Develop and manage budgets for all areas of responsibility.
Monitor expenses and identify opportunities for cost savings.
Manage purchasing and inventory control.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and licensing requirements.
Maintain accurate records related to operations, finances, and guest information.
Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers.
