The Quadient Inspire designer/developer is responsible for the design, development, testing, and implementation of various document and mail generation workflows on Quadient Inspire Designer. This role is crucial as the Designer/Developer is considered a document composition expert, capable of building new templates, making significant to minor template changes, and engaging in other design-related activities. The position also involves participation in testing new enhancements and upgrades to ensure the system remains efficient and up-to-date. In this role, the Designer/Developer will perform design and development of applications on complex projects utilizing both packaged software applications (Quadient Inspire) and custom-built applications. They will set up master workflows to support Document Template design using Inspire Designer and Inspire Interactive. A key responsibility includes template optimization, which involves reviewing templates to identify any setup issues that may affect performance or output quality. The Designer/Developer must maintain current knowledge of user design trends, standards, and techniques to ensure that the templates and workflows are modern and user-friendly. Familiarity with Adobe InDesign, Adobe Acrobat, Ransack, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop is highly preferred, as these tools are often used in conjunction with Quadient Inspire. Additionally, the ability to import forms from the current legacy system to Quadient Inspire is essential. Preference will be given to candidates who have knowledge of Java scripting, as this skill will enhance the ability to customize and optimize workflows effectively. The role also includes providing guidance on environment setup and tool configurations to align with Enterprise standards, ensuring that the product can be scalable for future needs. Finally, the Designer/Developer will be responsible for designing and configuring applications to migrate forms from legacy systems to Quadient Inspire platforms.
