About The Position

Assist Guests who visit Quick Service Restaurants according to established restaurant requirements as well as company policies and department procedures. Take orders and assist in operating a food service outlet; maintain food inventory and storage; maintain sanitary working conditions.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma (or equivalent). Extensive experience may be considered in place of education requirements.
  • Obtain and maintain valid food handlers certification before starting employment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain calm in a high-paced and stressful environment.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Money handling skills, and computer skills.
  • Demonstrate basic math skills.
  • Knowledgeable in areas regarding QSR operation and equipment.
  • Understand and operate registers/point of sale systems using American monies.
  • Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance.
  • Able and willing to work all shifts including, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong guest service and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to Multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise, smoke, and temperature levels
  • Gaming License Required? Ability to secure and maintain STATE OR TRIBAL Gaming License.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Guests who visit Quick Service Restaurants according to established restaurant requirements as well as company policies and department procedures.
  • Take orders and assist in operating a food service outlet
  • Maintain food inventory and storage

  • Practices, supports, and maintains the Mission, Vision and Values of Casino.
  • Welcome and connect with every Guest who approaches the QSR.
  • Discover Guest's needs and appropriately suggest products to enhance service.
  • Provide excellent guest service in the QSR outlets.
  • Respond to guests' inquiries and their requests.
  • Efficiently multi-task and assist Guests swiftly and efficiently.
  • Respond to guest issues and provide options to find resolution while complying with SOPs, IC’s and STRC-established policies, procedures and practices.
  • Prepare all menu items as defined by QSR recipes, procedures and processes.
  • Perform food preparation, cashiering, and product prep for the current shift to the next shift.
  • Follow all relevant food health and safety requirements.
  • Monitor stock and communicate inventory needs to supervisor.
  • Enter all transactions into the register, accept payments for all funds, and ensure bank is counted and accurate.
  • Keep all register receipts organized and all refunds and voids documented correctly and signed by the appropriate supervisor/manager only.
  • Clean and maintain the appearance of the QSR area(s).
  • Perform busser duties, such as cleaning tables, ensuring condiment and garbage stations are clean and tidy at all times, and running food to waiting Guests.
  • Communicate frequently with kitchen staff to ensure items are delivered promptly and accurately.
  • Effectively communicate with guests, co-workers, and management.
  • Report any issues or situations to supervisory and management staff in the case that service recovery assistance is needed.
  • Use all equipment associated with the position, including but not limited to POS (Point of Sale), and computer.
  • Distinguish between different denominations of currency and make change.
  • Communicate effectively always, with guests as well as all levels of team members.
  • Review and comprehend all necessary documentation.
  • Inspect and maintain the cleanliness of areas for which responsible.
  • Effectively and efficiently move around work area.
  • Lift, push, carry, and pull loads up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.
  • Walk, squat, stand, stoop, kneel, and twist.
  • Stand for long periods of time.
  • Operate in a working environment that is subject to varying levels of crowds and noise, the severity of which depends upon guest volume and may be exposed to second-hand smoke.
  • Perform other tasks assigned.
