About The Position

Reporting to the Quality Manager, the QMS Administrator plays a vital role in maintaining and advancing our Quality Management System (QMS). This position ensures compliance with standards and regulations while driving continuous improvement and process excellence across the organization. As a member of the RS team, you will help foster a collaborative, high-performing environment that values engagement at every level. This role is essential in upholding our core values and contributing to a culture of safety, quality, and continuous growth.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education preferred, with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and Internal Auditor Certification
  • Quality assurance/control experience in a manufacturing environment (product specifications, tolerances, reporting, statistics, etc.)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel for data analysis, charts, and tables; PowerPoint for presentations)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and document quality policies and procedures (e.g., Quality Alerts, One-Point Lessons, Work Instructions) and facilitate training for RS team members
  • Monitor manufacturing procedures and work instructions to identify opportunities to enhance quality
  • Maintain the document control system, ensuring timely reviews and accurate revisions
  • Perform quality checks, tests, and statistical analysis as needed
  • Manage gauge calibration systems, including studies and calibration record control
  • Document and manage the ISO 9001:2015 internal auditing process, including scheduling, audit participation, and implementing corrective actions
  • Lead Quality-related activities within Epicor used by the Quality team
  • Support external audits focused on the QMS
  • Assist Quality and Manufacturing teams with corrective actions for internal and external concerns
  • Monitor receiving inspection data and supplier quality performance
  • Collect and analyze data using spreadsheets, charts, and graphs
  • Conduct regular audits, including Business Maturity Assessments, Layered Process Audits, and QMS Audits
  • Serve as backup for other Quality team positions
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Quality Manager
