About The Position

Berg Pipe is one of the leading manufacturers of large-diameter steel line pipe in North America. We are a mid-sized manufacturer with three U.S. locations specializing in pipe production for the oil and gas sector. We are seeking full-time QMS MANAGER for our Panama City, Florida location.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or technical discipline plus experience reflective of the skills, abilities and knowledge contained in this description.
• 1 year of experience in a steel manufacturing environment reflective of the skills, abilities and knowledge contained in this description.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Nice To Haves

• Bachelors degree in metallurgy (Preferred)
• Experience in SAP (Preferred)
• Master's degree (Preferred)
• 5 years of experience in QMS management within a steel or heavy manufacturing environment (Preferred)
• Experience developing and implementing a greenfield or significant overhaul or a quality management system (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Ensure that Borusan Berg Pipe's quality system complies with ISO 9001, API Q1, and customer requirements ensuring certifications are maintained.
• Maintain consistency and alignment of quality system implementation between Panama City and Mobile manufacturing facilities.
• Provide ongoing training on quality system processes.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to the quality management system.
• Conducting an annual management review that summarizes the status of the quality system.
• Oversee the system of internal audits of the quality management system.
• Ensure internal auditors are trained to the current versions of ISO 9001 and API Q1.
• Administer the corrective/preventive action (CPAR) system and provide reporting of key performance metrics to management.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives, addressing resistance and aligning teams with quality system objectives to drive continuous improvement.
• Other duties as assigned.
