About The Position

Air Squared Manufacturing, Inc. is an OEM manufacturer of scroll type compressors, vacuum pumps and expanders for the medical, aerospace, fuel cell and power generation industries. Air Squared offers exciting career opportunities working on projects including NASA MOXIE, Leading Electric and Autonomous Vehicle OEM, DOE Clean Energy initiatives ranging from nuclear fusion and the Advanced Research Projects Agency - Energy (ARPA-e), and other cutting-edge projects. We are looking for a QMS Administrator who will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the quality management system at Air Squared and working across all departments to develop, deploy, and continuously improve business processes that support growth and enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • MUST SUBMIT RESUME TO BE CONSIDERED
  • Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent experience (preferred)
  • 2-4 years’ experience in overseeing a Quality Management System in a manufacturing facility
  • Experience with Quality Management Systems meeting ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 standards (required)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (required)
  • Experience with MRP/ERP (required) (Global Shop preferred)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with IATF 16949 Standards (preferred)
  • Proficiency reading and understanding manufacturing prints and associated GD&T (preferred)
  • Experience with Ideagen (previously Qualtrax) (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and continuously improve current Quality Management System with the support of department managers
  • Administer all aspects of Electronic Quality Management System and support all personnel with technical support issues
  • Coordinate document control activities and ensure effective distribution, traceability, and retention
  • Champion the documentation of procedures, forms, and work instructions that support quality assurance
  • Develop, deploy, and improve business processes that support growth, improve efficiency, and maintain a high standard of quality
  • Train and coach personnel on basic QMS functions
  • Conduct quality audits and maintain ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certification
  • Oversee annual ISO audits and internal audits
  • Oversee internal and external customer quality audits
  • Oversee supplier quality audits with the support of supply chain personnel
  • Support customer account managers in resolving quality-related concerns and actions from customers
  • Audit all processes throughout the organization
  • Support Sales and Customer Service with quality related questions from customers and customer audits
  • Maintain a working knowledge of applicable regulation and industry standards
  • Oversee CAPA program and provide data to department managers
  • Pursue certification to additional quality standards (e.g., AS9100) at the direction of CEO
  • Support additional compliance requirements at the direction of CEO (e.g., RoHS, REACH)
  • Support with LPA Program and its countermeasures
  • Support with the company’s training program and record of training
  • Perform other tasks as assigned
