About The Position

EPIC Health Partners is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and skilled Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to join our behavioral health team. The QMHP plays a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centered, community-based services to individuals with behavioral health challenges. This position focuses on promoting recovery, independence, and wellness through therapeutic interventions, skill-building, and support in both in-home and community-based settings. The QMHP works with children, adolescents, and/or adults based on program needs and is supervised by a licensed mental health professional.

Requirements

• Registered as QMHP or QMHP-T with the VA Board of Counseling
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a Human Services-related field (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Counseling)
• At least 1 year of experience in behavioral health
• Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation
• CPR/First Aid & TB Screening required

Responsibilities

• Provide direct services including Mental Health Skill-Building, Crisis Support, or IIH
• Deliver person-centered, community-based care in homes and other settings
• Complete assessments, write service plans, and maintain documentation
• Document service notes
• Collaborate with supervisors, families, and support systems
• Participate in training and team meetings
• Assist individuals with de-escalation techniques and provide mental health education
• Maintain compliance with DBHDS, DMAS, MCO, and Epic Health Partners regulations and policies
• Other Job Duties as required
