About The Position

The QMAP (Qualified Medication Administration Personnel) at Courtyard of Loveland Assisted Living Facility is responsible for coordinating resident care related to medications. This role involves working closely with administrative staff, medical communities, and families to ensure that residents' medication needs are met. The QMAP supervises the medication room, utilizes proficient medication administration techniques, and documents care related to medications. The position is available for both part-time and full-time shifts, with a focus on providing quality care to a diverse group of residents in an assisted living environment.

Requirements

• CPR Certification
• Experience in medication administration (1 year preferred)
• Experience in caregiving (1 year preferred)
• Ability to accurately and efficiently pass medication

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a QMAP
• Familiarity with ECP software

Responsibilities

• Pour, pass, and assist with the administration of medication
• Update resident charts including incident reports and medication orders
• Maintain medication documents to ensure forms are current and correct
• Communicate resident status changes to relevant parties
• Conduct weekly audits of medication administration
• Ensure caregivers are completing their tasks effectively
• Attend all meetings to stay informed about facility operations
