Requirements

• RN with current NYS license.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience required.
• Performance Improvement and Quality Management experience.
• Familiarity with STS registry and NYS DOH CSRS databases.
• Excellent organizational skills and detail-oriented.
• Problem solving ability, creativity, and effective communication skills.
• Data analytical skills required.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree.
• CPHQ (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality) certification.
• Experience in cardiovascular surgery.

Responsibilities

• Accountability for accurate and complete data collection for the cardiovascular surgery program.
• Coordination of performance improvement initiatives as indicated by the data.
