About The Position

The Qlik Sense Specialist will be expected to work with a small team of Qlik developers to build Dashboards consumed by Operations users (analysts, managers and executives), help increase speed to market for Qlik dashboard development (both design and data modeling) and assist efforts around Qlik infrastructure design. Responsibilities also include partnering with assigned operational areas to compile key Operational data, analyzing metrics performance and generating dashboards for internal customers and senior executives in order to identify opportunities that result in improved client service, increased operational efficiency and/or cost savings. This individual must demonstrate excellent analytical skills and have the ability to educate, consult and advise management on data trends and performance drivers.

Requirements

  • More than five (5) years of relevant Business Intelligence or dashboard development experience is highly preferred.
  • More than Two (2) years of Qlik Sense experience is highly preferred.
  • Background in contact center or call-center reporting is a plus.
  • Works independently and provides guidance and training to others on analyzing data trends for use in reports to help guide decision making.

Responsibilities

  • Perform complex statistical analysis and utilize mining, modeling, and testing techniques to enable data analysis.
  • Make recommendations to improve data and analytics systems and platforms, contributing to the continuous improvement and refinement of data and analytics strategy.
  • Oversee data collection mechanisms and how they fit into data architecture, partnering with internal and external stakeholders to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Conduct research using primary data sources, and select information needed for the analysis of key themes and trends.
  • Collect business requirements using a variety of methods, such as interviews, document analysis, workshops, and workflow analysis, to express the requirements in terms of target user roles and goals.
  • Prepare and coordinate the completion of various data and analytics reports.
  • Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation, where relevant to improve performance and fulfill personal potential.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
