Qlik Developer - Security Clearance Required
About The Position
Kearney and Company is seeking a Qlik Developer with data analytics and visualization experience to join our team in the DC Metro Area! The incumbent will be someone who: Uses the power of their analytical skills to assist and improve the defense industry in numerous ways, working closely with customers to understand their questions and needs and dig into their data-rich environment to discover the missing pieces in the information puzzle Applying specific functional and general industry knowledge, helps discover answers to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity by developing algorithms, writing scripts, building predictive analytics, maximizing automation, applying machine learning and combining tools and frameworks to turn disparate data points into objective answers that help our client make informed decisions Offers customers a deep understanding of their data, what it all means, and how they can use it, and acts as a trusted source who optimizes the potential of data science for good in the defense industry Works independently with some guidance and may review or guide activities of more junior employees Appreciates the opportunity to be independent, creative and challenged Has a curious mind, is passionate about solving problems quickly, and bringing innovative ideas to the table
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of data science or analytics experience or at least 4 years of data science or analytics experience in lieu of degree
- Experience with BI Dashboard tools, including Tableau and Power BI, with Qlik Sense being highly preferred
- Experience with briefing senior leadership and working directly with internal and external clients
- Experience with building robust analytical models, including forecasts, cost models, and historical trend analyses
- Ability to navigate a complex matrix environment and manage competing priorities
- Experience with SQL and experience with Python or R
- Must be willing to go on-site in the DC Metro Area
- Minimum active Interim Secret Clearance (requires US Citizenship)
Nice To Haves
- Bachelors degree with at least 4 years of data science or analytics experience OR Master's degree with at least 2 years of of data science or analytics experience
- Experience with Qlik dashboarding, development functions, and mashups
- Experience with web technologies including JavaScript, CSS, Node.js, or Enignma.js
- Experience using DataBricks to perform data transformations or modeling
- Experience using Cloud Native Services or tools
- Ability to comprehend stakeholder needs effectively, communicate development plans, and track progress milestones
- Possession of excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Possession of excellent critical thinking skills to assess numbers, trends, and data to reach new conclusions based on findings
- Possession of excellent quantitative skills, including statistical analysis, process design, and data management
- Qlik Data Architect, Qlik Data Analyst, or QlikView Developer Certification
