If you possess these skills, then we want you to join our team! The QIS Data Surveillance Manager (Manager V) reports directly to the Director of Quality Improvement Support (QIS). The position performs highly advanced (senior-level) managerial work overseeing the daily operations and activities of the QIS Data Surveillance unit. The Data Surveillance Team provides critical assistance on high-priority assignments to anticipate, identify and provide continuous data surveillance. This team's primary function is to preemptively identify areas of concern for AES. Additionally, the team provides guidance and solutions to ensure action is taken and concerns are mitigated. This team documents, prioritizes, conducts root cause analysis, and troubleshoots for identified defects and agency staff errors; in some cases before they occur. The team will be tasked with "early problem identification" to help recognize, define, and monitor potential risks at the very first signs of its emergence. Data Surveillance Team members engage in workgroups during assessments, may submit IT requests and supports or potentially lead high profile projects. The team's goal is to enhance efficiency and minimize waste through ongoing improvement efforts, data surveillance, and innovative solutions.
