QC Warehouse Associate
About The Position
Palmer Logistics is looking for a skilled QC/Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team! The ideal candidate will be safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and reliable in a fast-paced environment. This position plays a crucial role in our daily operations serving as the last line of defense between product issues and the customer. Their responsibilities directly impact product quality, customer satisfaction, and the overall efficiency of the warehouse. If you're a dedicated and proactive individual looking to make an impact in our organization, we want to hear from you! Pay Rate: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour depending on experience and equipment knowledge.
Requirements
- Flexible work schedule: must be able to come in early, stay late, and/or work weekends depending on operational needs.
- Must be able to work in a congested area(s) in a climate-controlled warehouse.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs, adjust the body to bend, push, pull, stretch, stoop, squat, and grab; walk and sit for extended periods.
- Detail-oriented and capable of performing basic math functions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
Nice To Haves
- Sit-down forklift and reach truck experience a plus.
Responsibilities
- Utilize RF scanner.
- Follow established company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with warehouse and office personnel to meet productivity goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform daily equipment inspections prior to operation.
- Processing, packing, checking labeling, wrapping customer orders.
- Utilize World Ship (UPS) and FedEx software
- Other duties as required.
