Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED strongly preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Proficient in basic math, data entry, and computer usage
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to express ideas professionally and clearly
  • Flexible schedule with ability to work overtime, weekends, and required shifts
  • A team mindset and the organizational skills to multi-task efficiently

Responsibilities

  • Perform analytical testing on ingredients, in-process products, and finished goods
  • Conduct sensory evaluations on every batch to ensure taste, texture, and appearance meet quality standards
  • Monitor critical control points (CCPs) for food safety compliance
  • Verify labeling accuracy for microbiological samples and finished goods
  • Use lab equipment proficiently and maintain accurate data entry via software or written methods
  • Notify relevant personnel about out-of-spec results or paperwork discrepancies
  • Inspect equipment for cleanliness post-wash when necessary
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant working environment
