About The Position

Job Summary: The QC Technician maintains quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products; recording quality results. Responsibilities of the Position: Perform equipment verification and monitoring challenges (scale calibration, metal detector challenge, checkweigher challenge) Perform pre-operation and line clearance inspections Perform ATP sampling Independently perform and document all in-process food safety and quality inspections (BOM, lot code, net weight, label review, sensory, package construction and closure) Independently perform blow molding and winding inspection (Bartlett only) Responsible for investigation and following hold procedures for out of specification components and finished goods Trained in GMP and GDP - Performs GMP-related auditing of production Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; cooperation and teamwork as well as complying with legal regulations. Work overtime hours as required by business needs. Attends selected meetings and trainings as required. Perform other duties as assigned by Management

Requirements

  • Computer literacy with tablets (such as iPads or other touch screen technology)
  • General math skills
  • Ability to read and write English
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and 3-6 months related food quality experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required
