About The Position
The Quality Control Technician performs inspections and quality checks throughout the manufacturing process to ensure products meet required standards for purity, composition, and quality.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
- Ability to read and follow safety rules and procedures.
- Basic math skills, including fractions, ratios, and percentages.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and move up to 250 lbs with a pallet jack.
Responsibilities
- Perform pre-operation line checks and in-process inspections.
- Conduct weight checks to confirm proper machine dosing.
- Inspect finished products and collect samples for testing.
- Assist with sampling/releasing raw materials and maintaining retained samples.
- Support environmental sanitation sampling.
- Maintain QC Hold areas and logs; track items on hold and release.
- Verify and approve work orders and batch records for Scheduling.
- Assist with investigations and equipment qualification documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all quality procedures and customer requirements.
