About The Position

Responsible for the accurate testing and analysis of all film products in accordance with established procedures and specifications.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Good computer skills
• Weekends and evening work are required
• Have the ability to analyze data
• Consistency and meticulous attention to detail is necessary for providing both repeatability and reproducibility in testing
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

Nice To Haves

• A two-year technical degree or 4-year college degree along with a strong background in the field of chemistry is desired and would be a plus.
• Lab experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus

Responsibilities

• Fully knowledgeable in operation of lab equipment necessary for daily testing
• Effective communication skills as part of team to resolve issues
• Identify quality issues and work with Production to resolve
• Independently take action to communicate and resolve issues with minimal supervision
• Recognize trends in test data and inform appropriate personnel to resolve
