About The Position
The QC Specialist in Medical Packaging at Eurofins is responsible for performing evaluations and laboratory testing on primary container-closure components and systems, critical secondary packaging, and shipping systems. This role involves utilizing mechanical testing equipment, dimension measurement instruments, and container closure integrity testing systems to ensure the safety and reliability of medical packaging. The specialist will execute established methods, collect data, and document results meticulously in lab notebooks and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS). In addition to testing, the QC Specialist will participate in the development of laboratory test methods or equipment, ensuring that all results are reliable and accurate. This position requires regular interaction with colleagues in other groups, fostering collaboration and communication across departments. It is essential that all activities adhere to established safety standards, regulatory requirements, and Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP), maintaining the highest quality and compliance in laboratory operations. The position is full-time, operating on a first shift schedule from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with overtime as needed.
