Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1+ years of cGMP experience in a laboratory setting.
  • Previous leadership experience (1+ years).
  • Strong technical skills in QC testing and instrument calibration.
  • Proficiency with LIMS and computer applications.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical ability to lift 25 lbs., stand for extended periods, and perform routine lab tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Perform QC testing on raw materials and utilities, including pH, conductivity, nitrate identification, Total Organic Carbon (TOC), and appearance.
  • Handle sample receipt, storage, and disposal in compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines.
  • Calibrate and verify laboratory instruments prior to use.
  • Accurately document and review test results; report anomalies promptly.
  • Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies, media, and reagents; ensure proper housekeeping.
  • Utilize Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for sample tracking and data entry.
  • Investigate quality deviations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to optimize client services and operational efficiency.
  • Supervise and monitor team performance to meet quality and productivity metrics.
  • Coordinate scheduling, task allocation, and equipment maintenance.
  • Lead onboarding and training programs for new hires; provide ongoing GMP-related training.
  • Conduct peer reviews of data and ensure compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations during team meetings.
  • Promote company vision and foster a collaborative, client-focused environment.
