About The Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control (QC) Plumbing Inspector to oversee and verify the quality of our residential new construction plumbing installations. This position is responsible for inspecting completed slab, rough-in, and trim phases to ensure work meets company standards, local code requirements, and builder expectations. The QC Inspector will document findings, upload photos into Bolt software, and assist field supervisors in maintaining high-quality installations.
Responsibilities
- Quality Control Inspections
- Perform thorough inspections of completed:
- Slab plumbing installations
- Rough-in plumbing systems
- Trim-out installations
- Verify compliance with local plumbing codes and company standards
- Identify installation errors, deficiencies, or potential issues
- Ensure proper materials, pipe supports, venting, water lines, and fixture placements
- Documentation & Reporting
- Take clear, detailed job site photos during inspections
- Upload photos and notes into Bolt software accurately and timely
- Complete QC checklists and inspection reports
- Communicate deficiencies to supervisors and project managers
- Track corrections and verify completion of required fixes
- Field Support
- Assist plumbing supervisors with job walkthroughs
- Provide feedback to crews to improve workmanship
- Support training efforts by identifying recurring issues
- Coordinate with builders or site supervisors as needed
