Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of quality and/or manufacturing experience in a pharmaceutical, biotech, or biologics operation.

Responsibilities

  • Perform QC sample receiving, processing, storage, disposal and distribution to QC labs.
  • Perform Cryo sample transfer, disposition, and shipment.
  • Maintain inventory of lab supplies and materials.
  • Maintain “0” OSHA recordable goal in Lab.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on maintenance and operation of equipment to support QC labs.
  • Resolve data discrepancies and missing information issues for continue quality improvement.
  • Be qualified for Devication, CAPA and Root Cause Analysis for qualility improvement
  • Revise and review SOPs, work instructions and reports.
  • Monitor the GMP systems currently in place to ensure compliance with documented policies.
  • Provide on the job training and day-to-day guidance to other staff under supervision.
  • Moderate process optimization and scientific trouble-shooting skills.
  • Uses good verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills to provide insight into the processes used to achieve results of assigned tasks.
  • Create daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly lab cleaning schedule.
  • Create and schedule work benches to junior staff.
  • Gather metric information for use in continuous improvement of areas of responsibility.
  • Perform QC review of documentation such as sample COC and logbooks.
  • Participate and support in ad-hoc projects or other duties as needed.
  • Shift hours are flexible within seven days each week.
  • Job requires some overtime, weekend or holiday work as needed.
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs and work with dry ice and LN2 freezers.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
  • These duties can be delegated to designated deputies of a satisfactory qualification level as needed.
