About The Position

The QC Intern is an entry-level, temporary position focused on performing quality control testing for diagnostic tests in the food and beverage industries. The role involves working closely with the QC Management Team to ensure the quality and safety of products through rigorous testing and data analysis.

Requirements

• High School diploma
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Valid driver's license for travel between local facilities.

• Understanding of basic statistics
• 0 to 2 years of QC/QA/GMP/GLP experience
• Understanding of aseptic/sterile technique

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control testing on diagnostic test kits, components, and standards for the food and beverage industries.
• Critically evaluate testing in process to determine root causes of out-of-specification results and carry out appropriate follow-up actions.
• Prepare and summarize data in a timely manner for review by QC/QA management.
• Maintain lab cleanliness and safety standards at all times.
• Convert Microsoft Excel documents to PDF for archiving.
