About The Position
Performs in-process and/or final inspection on materials, detail components, hardware and assemblies to ensure product compliance to Customer and Company requirements. Inspects machined parts, components, assemblies and materials to ensure compliance with appropriate regulatory guidelines (Military Standards, ASTM and ANSI and ASME codes).
Requirements
- High school degree required.
- Must be able to read, communicate and understand English per FAA requirements.
- Experience in aerospace manufacturing practices, procedure, inspection methodologies and techniques in an AS9100 QMS environment.
- Attention to detail, strong communication, interpersonal and writing skills.
- Two or more years' experience in Aerospace Quality Inspection.
- Interprets blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, drawings or inspection instructions.
- Can perform visual and dimensional tests to blueprint/drawing requirements.
