JFT is growing and looking for a QC Inspector, CWI preferred, to join our team in our Loveland, CO office. The anticipated closing date for this posting is 4/30/26 and applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. The QC Inspector will utilize their inspection experience to ensure the products coming from external and internal vendors are compliant with the technical requirements specified. This position is responsible for verifying requirements from purchase orders are satisfied, all needed and substantiating documentation is created and recorded, and all parts are released to continue down through production.

Requirements

  • Experience with mechanical inspection, programming digital coordinate measurement machines, measurement using hand inspection tools and troubleshooting sources of error are critical to the position.
  • At least 3 years of experience working within an ISO 9001 quality management system in a manufacturing and engineering environment.
  • QA experience in the application of ASME, NQA-1 and/or 10CFR50 Appendix B, as well as audit support.
  • NDT experience including magnetic particle, liquid penetrant or leak testing (MT, PT, LT).
  • This role requires immediate and routine access to restricted information under federal law, including but not limited to Export Controlled Information (ECI), Unclassified Controlled Nuclear Information (UCNI), Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), Department of Energy Official Use Only (DOE OUO), and/or ITAR‑controlled technical data.
  • Under applicable DOE orders and client contracts, non‑U.S. citizen candidates (including lawful permanent residents) may require an approved DOE Foreign National Visit/Assignment (FNVA) before beginning work or accessing project information.
  • Because this position requires immediate access and project timelines do not accommodate new government approval processing, JFT may be unable to initiate or sponsor new FNVA approval processes or defer start dates pending FNVA approval for this role.
  • Accordingly, hiring and placement into this role is contingent on the candidate's eligibility to access the required information and facilities as of the start date, including having any required government approvals already in place.
  • All offers of employment are contingent on satisfying all applicable licensing, training, and other client/government approval requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • ASNT qualifications and AWS CWI certification is a plus.
  • Customer specification and drawing review, and quality document submittal preparation experience is desired.

Responsibilities

  • Gather needed certifications and documents required for our ISO 9001:2015, ASME, NQA-1 and 10CFR50 Appendix B quality programs.
  • Review and approve quality paperwork and perform timely in-process inspections.
  • Measure precision machined components and fabrications against drawing requirements.
  • Measure and inspect components coming from vendors for conformance to engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications; process standards and specifications; and production or process plans.
  • Utilize digital CMM equipment and laser trackers, as well as calibrated hand tools to perform measurements.
  • Accept or reject material and identify and document anomalies and non-conformances.
  • Create and maintain inspection records utilizing many different electronic information systems.
