Keller delivers sophisticated manufacturing solutions for many industries including Engineered Materials, Semiconductors, Robotics, Chemicals, Medical and Life Science, Energy Research, and Industrial Technologies. We are currently seeking to fill the following position for our Buffalo location. QC Inspector We are looking for a highly motivated, well organized, team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. High degree of ownership, and desire to make those around you better.

Requirements

Fluent with precision measuring equipment including, but not limited to micrometers, calipers, gauges and profilometers.
Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
Knowledge of CMM operation
Basic computer knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
Familiar with calibration process
Has the knowledge and capability to read and interpret blueprints, written requirements and specifications, process properly and enter information into the network project folders.
Excellent oral and communication skills
Strong organization and prioritization skills.
Attention to detail, self-motivated and creative problem-solving skills.
Minimum 2+ years’ experience inspecting metal materials and assemblies to close tolerances.
Minimum high school/trade school graduation required

Nice To Haves

PC-DMIS metrology Software experience a preferred.

Responsibilities

Inspect various mechanical parts utilizing traditional precision measuring tools/equipment, optical, layout, visual, CMM, Romer Arm, Laser Tracker
Maintain proper documentation including lot history reports, nonconforming materials reports, returns and inspection logs, NCR’s.
Maintain and log calibration of all inspection tools.
Adherence to company policies and ISO Standards
Provide assistance in all departments as required by KTC management.
OT and travel may be required.
Must be able to follow 6s, quality and safety standards.
