The Inspector performs dimensional layout and visual weld inspections on all welds in accordance with the quality inspection procedures. All inspections must be documented on the appropriate inspection forms.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Experience in blueprint reading and layout.
• Ability to achieve ASNT SNT-TC-1A VT Level II or CWI certification.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge and experience with manufacturing steel transmission/distribution monopole structures.
• ASNT SNT-TC-1A UT Shearwave Level II and MT Yoke Level II
• Experience with galvanizing and coatings inspections.
• Knowledge and experience with weld inspection to the requirements of AWS D1.1
• Goal oriented with a drive for continuous improvement.
