About The Position

Ichor Systems has an immediate opening for a QC Inspector at our Osakis, MN facility. Requirements

• Demonstrated basic to mid-level print reading.
• ASQ Certified Technician, required. (or must obtain during 1st year of employment)
• For candidates based in Minnesota: The pay range for this position is $17.12 - $29.09 per hour.
• ITAR ONLY The business site where this position is located is an ITAR-compliant operation. Due to ITAR regulations, Ichor Systems is only able to employ US Persons. Nice To Haves

• Demonstrated PC-DIMS or Calypso experience in maintaining and tuning programs, and/or Final Inspector Certification.
• Ability to multi-task and work with others in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly developed problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Customer-oriented and service-minded.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office software packages and Windows operating systems, i.e. MS word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.
• Associate degree in Manufacturing or Quality related field preferred, not required.
• 2+ years of experience in Manufacturing Quality Control, or equivalent.
• ASQ Certified Inspector preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, set up, in-process, and final inspection activities as specified by Ichor control plans using inspection tools such as microscopes, micrometers, vision systems, comparator, calipers, CMM machines, and drop gages.
• Complete inspection record as specified by product control plan and work instructions.
• As needed, perform open layout inspections, fulfilling product control plan and First Article requirements.
• Provide CMM programming support for running 1st time programs, tuning existing programs, and diagnosing issues as they arise. Light programming may be requested
• Provide mentoring and training to other inspectors
• Provide additional information and clarification for the machinists as requested.
• Develop reports and tracking measurements as needed.
• Other duties as required
