The Quality Control Inspector II/III is responsible for routine (incoming, in-process, first article and final) QC inspection of raw materials, subassemblies and finished product. All receiving, in-process, first article and final inspections are performed in accordance with documented procedures and specifications. The QC Inspector II/III shall use inspection equipment that is properly calibrated, handled and maintained. The QC Inspector II/III documents inspection results and releases acceptable product for use. The QC Inspector II/III identifies and segregates nonconforming product/processes for disposition by the Material Review Board. The Quality Control Inspector II/III is responsible for performance of the following quality system functions in accordance with documented procedures: Inspection– Performing first article, receiving, in-process and final inspections in accordance with documented procedures. Assisting other personnel with inspection setups and questions. Process Control – Maintain product identification and traceability requirements throughout the inspection processes. Nonconformance Handling – Identification, documentation, evaluation, and segregation of nonconforming product pending review and disposition by the Material Review Board. Statistical Techniques – Employment of the appropriate statistical sampling techniques for inspection by attributes (ANSI/ASQ Z1.4).
