About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 3 years of experience in a quality control or laboratory environment.
• Entry-level experience in GMP and microbiology.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with environmental monitoring in a GMP setting.
• Familiarity with microbiological testing methods.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine environmental monitoring and sampling of critical utilities.
• Analyze water samples, including Total Organic Carbon (TOC), conductivity, bioburden, and endotoxin levels.
• Conduct testing on process gases, including total particulates, viable air, hydrocarbons, and dewpoint.
• Perform routine testing in support of manufacturing processes, including bioburden, sterility, endotoxin, culture purity, and cell stock identity.
• Prepare and ship contract laboratory testing samples, including those for microbiological identification.
• Support general laboratory activities such as equipment maintenance and housekeeping.
• Participate in equipment and method qualifications, validations, and method transfers.
• Enter data in compliance with good documentation practices.
• Assist with the initiation and closure of quality system records, such as environmental monitoring excursions and deviations.
• Write and/or revise standard operating procedures (SOPs).
