About The Position

The QC Analyst I supports laboratory operations by performing basic analytical testing and assisting with quality control activities under supervision. This entry-level position provides training and development in cGMP laboratory practices and routine QC assays essential to the production and release of biologics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences, Chemistry, or related field
• 0-1 year of experience in a laboratory or biopharmaceutical setting (internship or academic lab acceptable)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Familiarity with basic laboratory techniques and safety practices
• Ability to follow written procedures and protocols

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of cGMP and GLP practices
• Experience with Microsoft Office and basic laboratory instrumentation

Responsibilities

• Perform basic lab tests (e.g., pH, conductivity, visual inspection) under supervision
• Assist with preparation and organization of reagents and materials
• Execute and document results in compliance with cGMP and GLP standards
• Support equipment calibration, maintenance logs, and lab cleanliness
• Log, label, and manage sample receipt and inventory
• Maintain complete, accurate, and legible records of testing activities
• Participate in lab safety and quality training sessions
• Assist in restocking laboratory consumables and supplies
• Escalate anomalies and deviations to senior team members
• Perform other duties as assigned
