About The Position

The QAQC Senior Project Manager will review project deliverables for compliance with applicable codes, firm standards, client requirements, and internal quality procedures, while supporting project teams in maintaining consistency, accuracy, and technical excellence throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Degree(s) in Civil / Structural Engineering or Architectural Engineering
• Professional Engineering Licensure
• 15+ years of recent related experience
• Significant experience in the design of elevated concrete structures
• Strong knowledge of structural design codes and standards (e.g., ACI, AISC, ASCE, IBC).
• Proficiency in reviewing structural calculations, drawings, and specifications.
• Strong understanding of QA/QC systems, and continuous improvement processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence without direct authority.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with commercial engineering applications (e.g. RAM, RISA, ETABS)
• Familiarity with Revit is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review project drawings, specifications, and calculations for compliance with applicable building codes, LAFP standards, regulations and the clear presentation of technical information.
• Provide written review comments to the project teams.
• Coordinate project introduction and follow-up meetings with project teams.
• Support staff development through reviews, including written feedback and oral discussions.
• Identify quality risks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with project managers in resolving technical and quality-related issues.
• Collaborate with in-house committees to maintain LAFP policies and standards.
