QA/QC Boilermaker Ensures that the facilities and buildings we are working on with the client are being constructed properly. They will help to monitor daily processes and quality of installations during these processes. This person will have extensive knowledge of boilermaker systems within large facilities, such as data centers, and will potentially have on-site field experience Understand and comply with all Austin/Client safety policies and procedures. Utilize and participate in Austin’s Accident Prevention Program including audits. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States. Austin Industrial is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position.
  • Experience: 4 years of QAQC Boilermaker experience.
  • Certification/License : NCCER, a Valid Driver’s License, and a TWIC Card.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in testing assembled vessels
  • Clean pressure vessel equipment
  • Complete the maintenance documentation
  • Conduct inspections and prepare preventative maintenance reports
  • Tracking rolling information
  • Fabricate, install, test, and maintain vats, tanks, boilers, and pressure
  • Inspect equipment for proper functioning
  • Will be conducting weld testing, performing weld and repair inspections
  • Install auxiliary mechanisms (fittings, tubes, valves, boiler instrumentation)
  • Install large structures or boilers into facilities
  • Organize and assemble boiling parts
  • Read blueprints for dimensions, location, and position
  • Shape and fabricate parts
  • Weld of small diameter pipe/tube
  • Ability to perform well under pressure
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Package.
  • Familiar with other computer packages (eg. MS Project, Outlook, WinPCS, etc)
  • Knowledge of safety legislation and regulations
  • Other duties as assigned.
